About Cheryl

Flutist, Cheryl loofbourrow has freelanced with various orchestras including LA Pops, LA Jewish Orchestra, Beverly Hills Symphony, South Coast Symphony, Orange County Chamber Orchestra, Cypress Pops, the Veracruz Symphony Orchestra, LB Mozart Festival, LB Bach Festival, the Walt Disney Hall and the Kodak Dolby Theater. At 16 years old, she won an audition to solo with the Milwaukee Symphony. She graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan and as a Music Performance major at USC, won the wind competition with the USC Symphony. She has enjoyed recording flute solos for World Vision TV, and the Glory of Easter at the Crystal Cathedral. Favorite Contracting events include, Orchestras for Mendelsohn’s Elijah, Haydn’s Creation, the Queen Mary Brunch Trio, a reception for Bob Hope aboard a ship, Michael Eisner’s birthday Party, and the Musicians for the Opening of the Nixon Library (with 4 Presidents in attendance).  Bach Passion orchestras and Chamber Music is among Cheryl’s favorite experiences. She also loves teaching Flute, Piano, Clarinet, Voice and Uke in her Music Studio.
